International Traffic Coordinator

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working closely with the Operations and Ocean Freight Managers, you will support global supply chain management activities of key accounts. You will handle all facets of air and ocean traffic to include carrier scheduling.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Provide customer support and resolve customer queries.
• Receive and process international shipments.
• Coordinate, monitor and track status of shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and AES filings.
• Correspond with agents around the world.
• Verify and process vendor invoices.
• Generate status reports.
• Communicate pre-alerts to various trading partners.
• When and wherever possible, make recommendations to improve processes – with regard to reducing costs and improving efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed.

Will have a minimum of 5 years experience in air/ocean export operations for IFF, a college degree, excellent oral and written communication skills, and accomplished customer service skills.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
