Export/Import Inside Sales Specialist

TLG is in a growth mode and is looking to add a highly motivated inside sales specialist to its staff to manage customer relations and grow the inside sales activities.

Responsibilities include:

- Process, document, deliver, and follow-through on customer freight quotes

- Work with new customers to ensure smooth implementation and transition to account managers

- Coordinate with account management, documentation, accounting and various departments to ensure an outstanding customer experience

- Manage and maintain relationships with key agents around the world

- Utilize market research information to enhance sales success with potential clients

- Resolve customer issues on in a timely manner

- Maintain and organize confidential service contracts

- Update, maintain and organize key supplier information

- Maintain sailing schedules

Required skills and experience:

- Minimum seven years industry experience required

- Minimum three years inside sales experience required

- ability to communicate effectively with people of all education levels

- College diploma or equivalent industry experience

- Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

- Strong computer skills
